Urinary incontinence is a widespread problem, so much so that many women view it as normal or expected in its milder forms. Please do not hesitate to ask any of the physicians of The Women’s Specialists of Fayette for their opinion. A good history and physical exam are an important part of diagnosing the reason for incontinence; however we also offer in-office urodymanic testing to give the most detailed information which is sometimes critical in determining the best treatment options.
Treatment options may include bladder training or physical therapy, or an outpatient sling procedure or a more extensive surgery to treat interconnected problems with anatomic defects. Our physicians are all experts at the transvaginal tension free vaginal slings (TVT/TOT) which have become the mainstay of incontinence surgery.
I like going here. I have never had a problem, but I have not been pregnant before. I go in for routine check ups and other problems. Dr. Carter is great. I haven't seen any other doctors.
I love two of the doctors here so much. Cook and Carter are absolutely the best there are - great bedside manner. They listen and have been great with me for 12 years. Have never had an issue with the office staff. Everyone has been nice
I loved all the doctors there. Dr. Carter was my favorite. She also delivered my son. No long wait times and great customer service. I would recommend this practice to all expecting mothers.
